With the Yankees, whenever something good happens, something bad happens; Didi Gregorius injures his wrist

MIKE: Well, Keisha. In the Bronx, you know, the Yankees were kicking the door down of the American League Wild Card.

And of course, they knocked it down this past weekend. They were able to clinch a playoff spot.

Now it's not guaranteed that they will host that playoff game because the Oakland Athletics are right behind their backs. At the moment of this taping, they trail them by about a game and a half.

But with the Yankees, whenever something good happens, something bad happens.

They clinched a playoff spot, and then, of course, Didi Gregorius with the game-winning slide to score the winning run in that game wound up hurting his wrist.
He's going to be on the shelf for the next couple of days, but it does look like he will be joining the team before the regular season ends.

But it's very dicey for the Yankees right now to see who they're going to wind up starting in that playoff game, which is going to happen against the Oakland Athletics.

Derrick Rose is sent to What’s The 411Sports’ Dog House for his Civil Sexual Assault Case

With some of the details that have recently come out regarding his relationship with his accuser, Rose should be ashamed of himself.

Was Carmelo Anthony’s comment not worded properly, or, did he mean to throw shade at Jeremy Lin?

People are all in a tizzy over the following comment that New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony recently made regarding his former teammate, Jeremy Lin, who is now the starting guard for the Brooklyn Nets.

“He is the face of that franchise — believe it or not.

He came up, they paid him and now the ball is in his hands.

So now he’s one of the franchise players over there.

What do you want me to say about that?

I’m happy for him, excited for him to see how it’s going to work out, turn out over there.”

Are people reading too much into this story to generate a Knicks-Nets rivalry? Also, I know it’s preseason, and it is a very small sample size, but how do the Brooklyn Nets look?
